By accessing, browsing, or using the Curamed Healthcare website, mobile application, or any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Curamed Healthcare Limited, a company duly incorporated under the laws of Nigeria.

2. Service Description

2.1 Healthcare Services

Curamed Healthcare provides the following services:

  • Home-based blood collection and sample gathering services
  • Laboratory diagnostic testing through our partner network
  • Digital health reporting and result delivery
  • Health consultation services
  • Corporate wellness programs
  • Health screening packages and individual tests

2.2 Service Areas

Our home collection services are currently available in specific areas of Lagos State, Nigeria, including but not limited to Lekki Peninsula, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, and Banana Island. Service areas may be expanded or modified at our discretion.

2.3 Platform Services

We operate a digital marketplace connecting patients with accredited laboratory partners. Curamed Healthcare acts as an intermediary facilitating these connections while maintaining quality standards and customer service.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services independently. Minors may use our services with proper consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

3.2 Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account by providing:

  • Accurate and complete personal information
  • Valid contact information including phone number and email
  • Current address within our service areas
  • Emergency contact information

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Booking and Appointment Terms

Appointments may be booked through our website, mobile application, phone, or WhatsApp. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our customer service team.

4.3 Appointment Modifications

Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 2 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Late cancellations may incur service fees as outlined in our pricing policy.

You must ensure safe and appropriate access to the collection location, including adequate lighting, clean environment, and necessary facilities for sample collection.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes. Prices may change without notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the agreed price.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Debit and credit cards
  • Mobile payment platforms
  • Cash payments upon service completion
  • Corporate invoicing for approved business accounts

5.3 Payment Timing

Payment is due either before service delivery (prepayment) or upon completion of sample collection, depending on the payment method selected during booking.

Where applicable, we may bill approved insurance providers or HMOs directly. You remain responsible for any amounts not covered by your insurance.

6. Medical Disclaimers and Limitations

6.1 Not Medical Advice

Curamed Healthcare provides diagnostic testing services only. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Test results should always be interpreted by qualified healthcare professionals.

6.2 Scope of Services

Our services are limited to sample collection, laboratory testing, and result reporting. We do not provide emergency medical services or acute care interventions.

6.3 Test Limitations

Laboratory tests have inherent limitations and may produce false positive or false negative results. Test accuracy depends on proper sample collection, handling, and laboratory procedures.

6.4 Emergency Situations

Our services are not appropriate for emergency medical situations. In case of medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

6.5 Medical Professional Consultation

You are strongly advised to consult with qualified healthcare professionals regarding test results and any health concerns. Our optional consultation services supplement but do not replace proper medical care.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 Health Information

We collect, store, and process your health information in accordance with Nigerian data protection laws and international healthcare privacy standards. Your health information is treated as confidential.

7.2 Data Use

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Service Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curamed Healthcare's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

8.2 Indirect Damages

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

8.3 Third-Party Services

We are not liable for the acts or omissions of our laboratory partners, healthcare providers, or other third-party service providers, except where we have been negligent in their selection or monitoring.

8.4 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

9.1 Customer Cancellations

You may cancel appointments up to 2 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 2 hours may incur a service fee of 25% of the appointment value.

9.2 Service Provider Cancellations

If we cancel your appointment, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

9.3 Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Cash payments will be refunded via bank transfer to your provided account details.

9.4 Unsuccessful Collections

If sample collection cannot be completed due to patient factors (inability to locate veins, patient refusal, etc.), partial charges may apply for the home visit service.

10. User Conduct and Responsibilities

10.1 Accurate Information

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when using our services. False information may compromise the quality and safety of our services.

10.2 Compliance with Instructions

You must follow all pre-test instructions, including fasting requirements and medication guidelines, to ensure accurate test results.

10.3 Respectful Behavior

You must treat our staff with respect and professionalism. We reserve the right to refuse service for abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.

10.4 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use our services for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with our operations or technology systems
  • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

11. Intellectual Property Rights

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services for violation of these terms, providing false information, or other conduct that we deem inappropriate.

Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. We will retain your health records as required by law and professional standards.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
